Hammer mills

The hammer mill is used for grinding grains such as: corn, wheat, soybeans, barley, oats, rice, dried plants, soybean cake and others that are included in animal feed.

The material is exposed to hammer blows in the mill, where its size is reduced until it passes through the sieve.

By using sieves with opening diameters from 3 to 10 mm, a wide range of granulation variation is possible.

The mill has a robust construction, designed for continuous grinding at high rotation speeds.

It consists of a housing, a grinding chamber that is made of steel plates and is mounted on the shaft in such a way that hammers and sieves can be easily installed.

Screens surround the hammers except in the part where the material is fed.

Hinged lids on the housing allow easy opening and access to the grinding chamber.

Hammers are made of heat-treated steel.

The dynamically balanced rotor rests on two bearings.

The grinding chamber is connected to the motor with a joint, and the whole construction is placed on supports that have shock absorbers on them to reduce the vibrations that occur during the exploitation of the mill.

On a Ø4 mm sieve and at a corn humidity of 13%, engine power from 18.5 to 75 kW, mill capacities can be from 4 to 15 t/h.
